Saturday at Mmarkt was fun. First time I took the tees off the net and into a little stall in front of the S.M.A.K. museum. Got the chance to introduce the brand, sell some tees and meet new people! Then it started pouring… took a rain check on sunday, no use setting up shop if noone’s around and everything gets soaked. Next up Trash & Treasures in Café Capital in Antwerp, june 7th, between 7pm and 11pm. Looking forward to that!
Toykyo is a multi-disciplinary creative agency from Gent that doubles as a shop. In the shop you can immerse yourself in their parallel universe of cool filled wall to wall with books, toys, sneakers, t-shirts and more. The design studio consists of old Zetka crew members Kaiser, Pointdexter & Bue The Warrior and has just produced the Not So Happy Bird by Parra I posted yesterday (Shout out to Benji for hooking me up!). With loads of impressive projects for clients such as Mercedes, Absolut, JP Gaultier and Sonia Rykiel under their belt their portfolio is one of the most interesting Belgium has to offer, in my humble opinion, well fuck humble, I’m telling you! I just posted the pixel invasion of NYC but there’s a lot more invading going on. Limited Addiction is now officially a warrior! As of now you can find my premium cotton threads over at De Invasie. I’m extremely proud to anounce yet another step towards world domination! De Invasie (The Invasion for you non-dutch speakers) decided to take Limited Addiction on board and offer me a spot on their impressive roster of creative masterminds. De Invasie caters to all your design needs, whether it’s furniture, accessories, jewelry, food or fashion, you need not look any further, it’s all right there in one webshop. De Invasie goes offline as well, the first invasion of Bruges was just that: an invasion, the event attracted a huge crowd with queues similar to those at a popular nightclub! So yeah, I guess it’s safe to say I’m very excited about things to come! I’m setting up shop at their webpage as soon as I can and, as it’s already become a bit of a tradition, you’ll be the first to know!

I really try to make a Limited Addiction t-shirt something special. Did I mention every tee features custom sleevetags (shown above) and a neck print (as shown in my very first blogpost) as I want my product to be the best it can possibly be and I want it to hold its own next to established brands. I also like everything that adds to the customer experience so I throw in a little goodie bag with every order and every t-shirt comes with a hand-numbered label. I feel a young brand such as mine can only survive if it can become a bit of a love mark; it has to be unique, trustworthy and honest. I won’t allow myself to reprint popular items or choose cheaper blank tees. I want you to know that shopping here means you’re getting an exclusive, high quality product.
First day online and what a day it was! First order came in mere minutes after i went online, with a second one minutes later and they kept coming in at a steady pace! The most amazing thing is I have yet to crank up the marketing machine. Friends old and new chipped in and made things happen. I’m proud to say the Walk A Mile tee Large sold out on the first day. So sorry if you’re a Large and you were eyeballin’ that one, but you have to be quick around these parts! Welcome to Limited Addiction. The wait is over, I’ve finally launched! I’m glad you found me and took the time to come here and read this. So here goes. After many many months of preparation I’m proud to present to you the fruits of my labour. The first series of tees, printed in very limited quantities on 100% cotton American Apparel is for sale as of now. I’m very pleased with how they turned out so I hope you like what you see as well. If you do, go ahead and cop some cotton and let all your friends know about this place too!
I’ll use this blog to keep you up to date on the brand, and let you in on what else I’m feeling, so check back often to see what’s up.
