Limited Addiction and PostrMagazine decided it was time for something else, something new, something fresh… Why not invite the best creative agencies from Ghent, add a couple of interesting foreigners and invite creatives from all over the country for a day of lectures and showcases, geek out over typefaces, print techniques and what not and end it all with a drink at the coolest gallery in town? There is no why not! Here’s Bleed:

Very happy to be able to announce Postr Magazine’s event next week in Antwerp at Art Space Leguit. Your favorite Counter Culture Chronicle blows out two candles and does so in fine style. Limited Addiction will also be present alongside some of the more interesting artists around these parts. Vernissage is on march 18th, more info to follow…
Toykyo’s Benji got busy with ceramics again. This time Todd James aka Reas’ Dumparoo charactergot the porcelain treatment. Limited to 15 pieces only these will prove to be tough to get a hold off! Brussels’ A.L.I.C.E gallery wil unveil these tonight and I’m sure enough eager heads will turn up togive it a shot. Pics below…
Big things a gwaan for Ghent’s very own Toykyo crew! How about a feature in world-renowned Idn magazine? Done deal:
Catch ‘em closer to home, in Hasselt to be precise: Alley Gallery will be the place to be if you want to catch Toykyo crew members Bue & Pointdextr
The creative cats at Toykyo do a lot more than producing incredible amounts of art… The second installment of their Boozegumps night will go down on tuesday, line-up is heavy, artwork by Pointdextr is smashing like John McEnroe as per usual and this is the mail they sent me:

The creative masterminds at Toykyo produced yet another amazing sculpture! This time Craig ‘Rinzen’ Redman’s Darcel character was given the good old Benji treatment. The “Have A Crap Day” edition is a unique, one-of-a-kind full sized one-eyed monster made from fibreglass. If you want to see it in person, you better hop on that TGV to Paris as it’s currently on display at the trendier-than-thou Colette shop where it’s part of the Redman exhibition named ‘And a miserable day to you too’ – An exhibition of paintings, prints, sculpture, animation and blogging…
A smaller version is limited to 9 pieces and goes by the name of “Summer In NY Is Fucked”
Hats off to Benji for yet another masterpiece!
Toykyo is a multi-disciplinary creative agency from Gent that doubles as a shop. In the shop you can immerse yourself in their parallel universe of cool filled wall to wall with books, toys, sneakers, t-shirts and more. The design studio consists of old Zetka crew members Kaiser, Pointdexter & Bue The Warrior and has just produced the Not So Happy Bird by Parra I posted yesterday (Shout out to Benji for hooking me up!). With loads of impressive projects for clients such as Mercedes, Absolut, JP Gaultier and Sonia Rykiel under their belt their portfolio is one of the most interesting Belgium has to offer, in my humble opinion, well fuck humble, I’m telling you! Don’t believe me? Judge for yourself:
